Hello everyone! It's me Focus and today I will be talking about the "future". So when you are a kid or something people will always ask or expect "what kind of job do you want to do in the future?" stuff like that. I usually get asked what I want to be when I grow up. So I do what a regular kid would do think what I want to be when I grow up, but in reality, I don't really know what I want to be when I grow up. I mean I kinda know what kind of job I want somewhere in the technical/ business field, but I still don't know what specific job I want. I mostly do research on what kind of jobs there are in the world and let me tell you there are a lot of jobs there are in the world. Most kids choose a popular day to day jobs like doctors, policemen, etc, but there are even more jobs out there in the world like freelancers or detectives, etc. So I mostly try and find more suitable jobs for me. When you are young and a friend who is also young asked what you want to be when you grow up. It's mostly "doctor!" or "teacher!". They would probably understand what kind of job you want since these kinds of jobs are mostly used as an example in schools since you see doctors in a hospital and policeman patrolling in the streets. How about you say some job like "Oh! I want to be a freelance programmer!". They would probably not understand since they are still young. Mostly I know what a freelance programmer is since my dad is one. At first, I wanted to be a freelance programmer too, but my dad said it takes a long amount of time to get this kind of job (like 10-20 years or something). SO I decided not to be a freelance programmer. I have two friends who both are very smart and said they want to be doctors. I mostly get it why they want to be doctors, but there are also more kids in my (old school's) class that ALSO wanted to be a doctor. Why? I asked. Simple. They are in it for the money. Well most of them anyway. It's just like "you must get this job because you will get a lot of money from it" or "get this job and we will be able to live a happy life". I'm kind of sick of the money system we have to be honest. It's money this money that you know? Anyways I mostly try to focus (ha made my own pun) on the present rather than the future. Why? Because you will never know when or how you will be able to get that "job" you always wanted unless you focus (yeah again I know) on the present. If you're dumb then you are probably never gonna be a doctor, unless you change that and become smarter. You mostly don't get to choose what kind of "specific" job you want unless it's in the future. If you're still young live your life! If you're already old then make sure to have other people on the right path. Everyone needs a little guidence in life you know? To see if their path to the future is the right one.
