What is a primate?
A primate has an opposable thumb which mean all of their fingers could grab other thing. There are 3 primates groups ape,prosimians and monkeys Lemurs are apart of the prosimians group for example the ring-tailed lemur murs can be found in Madagascar

What are lemurs like?
Their names come from the latin word “ghost ” . they live in the tropical forests and the wooden areas of it. They are most active at night ,but a ring-tailed lemur is mostly active during the day and likes to stay on the ground. These bushy - tailed animals like to live on trees. Some are fantastic leapers and Lemurs hind legs are longer than their front legs and there tails are longer than there bodies. Lemurs live between eighteen to twenty-seven years depending on the species.Many lemurs are endangered because of loss of habiat. (blue planet,page 99)
